“I am submitting an erasure of ‘A Gentleman in Moscow’ by Amor Towles. My Seattle April Phinney Ridge Center Book Club meeting was canceled and we never were able to discuss this wonderfully written book. I thought I’d go back to p.143 and see what would work as an erasure poem. Reading my selected words top to bottom didn’t work so I read it backwards and had more fun with that. The title refers to an event referred to on p.143 of the novel. In social distancing solidarity.” –Mary Ellen Talley
