I recently discovered this lovely little book, “Find the Good: Unexpected Life Lessons from a Small-Town Obituary Writer,” written by Heather Lende, an obituary writer in a small Alaska town. My experience of reading the book is like taking several deep breaths and entering a relaxed state, then getting to join Heather as she tells stories about people she’s come to know. On page 143 she starts telling about a man named Clyde Bell who had recently passed away. -Andy Smallman
